Parent Teacher Organization

The PTG consists of parents and teachers that are dedicated to enhancing the education of our children by fostering relationships between home and school. This group gives parents the opportunity to become more involved and have a direct influence on their child's education.

Meetings are generally held the first Wednesday of the month at 6:30 PM in the Media Center . The Granby Gazette and or the calendar of events on the school website will announce any changes to our scheduled meeting. If you are unable to attend our regular meetings but would like more information on how you can become involved please leave a message at the school for Cindy Trombly, PTG President

The PTG is involved in and supports many of the activities held every year at Granby such as Accelerated Reader night, Open House, the fall and spring book fairs, craft night as well as many other events at Granby and in our community.

The PTG has also begun an aggressive fundraising campaign to raise funds to build a new playground. It is the groups' goal to raise the approx. $40,000 needed to provide a new playground for the school.

( Cans may be brought to the school or dropped off at the redemption center at the intersection of Route 3 and Hannibal Street ) Be sure to tell them they are for Granby PTG!!

We will continue to explore new avenues to help us reach our goal as soon as possible. Any suggestions are welcome.
