Welcome Letter from Principal
Dear Students, Staff, Parents, and Community Members:
I am thrilled to serve as the new Principal of Fulton Junior High School. It is a privilege to lead this learning community during a time of incredible change and tremendous possibilities. Our challenge is to embrace the future of the 21st century and assure that our students grow to become our future leaders.
I would like to thank Mrs. Parkhurst for her effort and dedication during her tenure as Principal. I look forward to working with her in her new role as the High School Principal. I would also like to welcome Mrs. Stuetz to our Junior High family as the new Assistant Principal. In addition to serving as Assistant Principal at G. Ray Bodley for over three years, Mrs. Stuetz also has several years of classroom teaching experience at the middle and junior high school levels.
To our students, I ask that you reflect on your goals and strive to do your best every day. Know that administration, faculty, and staff are here to support and encourage you as you explore different opportunities and grow as learners. Remember that with these opportunities, come a personal and collective responsibility to be supportive of one another and our school. I will count on you to go beyond tolerance and treat all members of our community with respect.
To our staff, I pledge my commitment to work together as we strive to fulfill our district's vision. A school that aspires to greatness can expect no less. To our parents and community it is essential that you take an active role in our students' success. Fulton Junior High prides itself on the school spirit that our active parent group creates and maintains. With students in our building only two years, it is crucial that we maintain parent involvement. I encourage you to get involved right away with our group. There is always an opportunity to lend a hand in many ways, and you will always find a parent to welcome you with a smile! Our parents, teachers, students and staff work hard to create a respectful, responsible, and safe environment.
Serving as Principal of Fulton Junior High is as great an honor as it is a responsibility. I believe that the foundation of our future accomplishments will be to continue to provide our students with academic experiences that are rigorous, relevant and build lasting relationships. It is important that everyone who steps through our doors - staff, students, parents, and community members - are excited to be here! This attitude will allow us to embrace and meet the challenges of academic excellence in a positive and nurturing environment. I look forward to meeting and working with you all.
