 Welcome to Fulton Junior High! My name is Donna Parkhurst, and I am proud and honored to serve as the Junior High principal. We are a 7th and 8th grade building of approximately 600 students. We offer many programs that include challenging our students academically, as well as, a variety of extracurricular clubs, modified sports, music and drama. We have three teams at each grade level; red, green, and white (our school colors). This approach allows our teachers to work together with the same group or “team” of students in our efforts to focus as a team, rather than individually, on student needs.
The Fulton Junior High prides itself on the school spirit that our active Parent Group creates and maintains. With only two years in our building, it is crucial that we maintain parent involvement. I encourage you to get involved right away with our group. There is always an opportunity for everyone to lend a hand in many ways, and you will always find a parent to welcome you with a smile! Our parents, teachers, students and staff work hard toward building a respectful, responsible, and safe environment. You will find that my office is “open” for parents, students and staff. I encourage you to feel comfortable to contact me with any questions or concerns either by phone, email, or by stopping by. I also encourage you to stop by to just say “hello.” Lets work together to make Fulton Junior High a true learning community, where students and families enjoy an atmosphere that is inviting, comfortable and safe to learn.
