Welcome to the Fulton City School Districts Webpage.                            

The Fulton City School District operates a Universal Pre-Kindergarten for four year old children. Children are eligible for the program if they turn four years old by December 1, 2009. 

The UPK program is available to families in the Fulton Community at no cost.

The UPK program is offered half days (a.m. or p.m. classes) five days a week.

The UPK program is solely funded through a grant for the New York State Education Department.

For those of you with upcoming Pre Kindergarteners, we are now accepting applications for the 2009/2010 school year at the Education Center .  Applications are available on our webpage; you can pick up an application in Room 106 at the Education or call 593-5517 to have an application mailed to your home. 

We are hosting Open Houses at our UPK sites on April 7, 2009 from 6:00 – 7:00. Bring your child, visit our classrooms and meet the teachers.  You will be able to register your child on that evening.

On April 23, 2009 from 12:00 – 7:00 pm, registration will take place at Fairgrieve, Granby , J.E. Lanigan and Volney Elementary Schools .
